Do you find that when the seasons change, your bodily systems change as well? We need to nurture ourselves during the period when the days start getting shorter. Lots of warm soups, with herbs and gentle spices are needed, plus whatever you find is good for your digestion is supportive at this time. Maybe fennel or mint tea and plenty of ginger. Keep your digestive fire stoked up by eating warm, rather than cold foods and drinks. This is a time to be gentle to yourself because we are going into the darker and colder months…….Make sure you still spend plenty of time in nature though, and wrap up warmly!…..
